The Carlsbad Museum & Art Center features exhibits and artifacts from around the region, including mammoth and camel bones and a fine collection of varied Western relics. The art center offers the McAdoo Collection, a body of work from the artists who founded the original Taos Arts Society. The museum is located in the heart of the city between Alameda and Halagueno.
